We offer Canoe/Kayak instruction and testing up to British canoeing improving techniques course, with practice on the lake and trips on the River Avon.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or want to improve on previously learnt skills, we have a suitable course for you.

This introduction to paddling is designed for people with little or no experience. The content includes: launching and landing, forward and backward paddling, stopping and what to wear. Sessions take place on the lake and river. |

Improving Techniques : Paddle discover award – 4 x 1.5hr lessons |

The follow-on course allows you to develop your practical skills for a fun and safe time on the water which includes support strokes, low brace turn, capsize on the move and rescue, good forward and reverse paddling, draw strokes and eskimo rescue. Through this award you will learn how to choose and effectively use equipment whilst developing your decision making skills. |
